Lover of Humans and Optimistic Tech Enthusiast

A dystopian future seems to be a popular theme these days. While this makes for some great sci-fi shows and movies, it's not how I envision our future. Right now, as we move forward, we are mastering the technology of sending information instantly, but we still struggle with true communication. Some fear technology itself is to blame, while others believe the issue is how much we rely on it.

My opinion is different. I truly believe humans value other humans and the meaningful interactions they share.

My hope is that other designers are as excited and optimistic as I am about facilitating true communication through the tools available, whether technological or otherwise. I am not blind to the current global climate or the role technology has played in shaping it, but I consider it my obligation as a designer to strive for as many positive human experiences as possible. My faith in humanity and positive outlook on the direction of technological advancement are why I maintain this hopeful, non-dystopian view of the future.
