WorldWinner (GSN Games): Native Mobile App
Overview
WorldWinner is a real-money skill gaming app. I worked on the native mobile experience, focusing specifically on the payment flow — the path users take to add funds and enter paid contests.
Problem
The existing payment flow had more steps than it needed, adding friction right at the moment users were trying to spend money and play. Every extra screen was a chance for someone to drop off before completing a purchase.
Role and Responsibilities
I worked as a UX designer on the team, focused on simplifying and optimizing the payment experience.
Solution
I redesigned the payment flow and was able to eliminate an entire screen from the process, getting users from "I want to add funds" to "I'm playing" faster, with fewer taps and less hesitation.
Results and Impact
Removed a full screen from the payment funnel, shortening the path to purchase and reducing friction at a critical conversion point.
Reflection
This project was a good reminder that not every UX win needs to be a redesign — sometimes the highest-leverage move is simply asking what can be removed.
