WorldWinner (GSN Games): Web Apps
Overview
A full visual and UX revamp of WorldWinner's responsive web apps, done while real users were actively playing and spending money on the platform.
Problem
The web experience needed a modern look and feel, but WorldWinner's users are actively engaged — often mid-tournament, with real money on the line. Any redesign had to roll out without disrupting that ongoing activity.
Role and Responsibilities
I led this project as the sole UX designer on a small team, owning the look-and-feel direction end to end.
Key Challenges
Running a full visual and UX overhaul without interrupting live user activity meant careful sequencing and rollout planning, with no room for the kind of disruption a typical redesign might tolerate. Being the only UX voice on the team also meant carrying full ownership of every decision, with no second opinion to lean on.
Results and Impact
Delivered a complete look-and-feel revamp across the responsive web apps with no interruption to existing user activity during rollout.
Reflection
This project sharpened my instincts for shipping change carefully around real, active users — proof that a redesign doesn't have to mean downtime or disruption if it's planned well.
